Jamshedpur, Oct 19: The criminals involved in the firing on former BJP leader Rajesh Singh near Basant Central at Sakchi have been identified and would soon be arrested. This was said on Wednesday by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of East Singhbhum, Prabhat Kumar.
The SSP said raids were being conducted to nab the culprits. He said the case was being investigated from all possible angles. Police have identified the culprits with the help of CCTV footage obtained from shops near the crime scene, said the SSP.
Armed criminals had shot at Rajesh Singh at the parking lot near Basant Central on Tuesday. Rajesh Singh is an accused in Shanky Yadav murder case. Cosp had recovered bullet case, five bullets, one country-made gun and carbine magazine from the crime scene.
