CS stresses on automated payment gateway

Ranchi, Dec 31: Chief Secretary R.S. Sharma today laid stress on integrating automated payment gateway for issuing permit and license in excise, mining, transport and other departments. This will facilitates payment from anywhere, at anytime, he said. He directed the concerned departments for eliminating manual payment process.

The Chief Secretary was speaking at a meeting with Finance Department officials regarding Revenue collection 2012-13 held at the Project Building. He suggested for agreements between Municipal Corporations and the Forest Authority for maintenance of parks to assess the revenue potential.

Chief Secretary suggested devising tangible, strategic and long-term plan for the sustainable growth in economy.
The Additional Chief Secretary Shri Sudhir Prasad, Excise Commisssione Satendra Singh, Finance Secretary AP Singh, Principal Secretary Planning & Development Shri D.K. Tiwari, Principal Secretary Forest Smt. Alka Tiwari along with other officials were present at the meeting.
