Ranchi, April 18: Chief secretary Rajbala Verma directed the Ranchi Deputy Commissioner to ensure sanitation and proper traffic management in the capital city in the light of the Prime Minister�s visit.
She also reviewed the management at the Ranchi airport. At the same time, Verma directed the officers to ensure their work effectively and flawlessly.
The chief secretary issued the instructions during a review meeting with administrative officials on the preparations for the PM�s visit.
Verma directed the ministerial secretariat and Vigilance Department to prepare a list of people who will welcome and see off the Prime Minister at Birsa Munda Airport. She directed the Home, Jail and Disaster Management departments to ensure proper security management of Prime Minister�s program. She also asked to ensure proper medication facility.
She directed the officers to carry out the work efficiently earmarked for their department.
Development commissioner Amit Khare, principal secretary, RDD N.N. Sinha, principal secretary to the Governor S. K. Satpathi, DGP D. K. Pandey, Ranchi DC, senior police officers and principal secretaries as well as secretaries of many departments were present at the meeting.
