Ranchi, Sept 1: Chief secretary Rajeev Gauba directed all the deputy commissioner of the state to ensure distribution of land deeds (Vanadhikar Patta) to forest dwellers to the villagers by September 30 2015.
He order preparation of a roster for conduction of Gram Sabha so that that old as well as new applications could be sorted out in the presence of forest officials. He said it while reviewing the schemes under forest act with the D.C s of all districts through video conferencing.
Mr. Gauba directed the departmental secretary to monitor on his own level the distribution of vanadhikar Patta in the districts where it is going very slow; at the same time, it was also suggested to see if the patta is given to right person or not.
He directed the DCs to call a meeting of BDOs & work on the same model for community vanadhikar Patta. On the forthcoming 2nd October, the CM will talk regarding distribution of vanadhikar Patta with all the DCs through video conferencing.
The CS said that by then, all DCs should prepare the report regarding vanadhikar Patta , scholarship, cycle distribution & health services.
Mr. Gauba said that 2 NGOs are propagating benefits of schemes regarding vanadhikar Patta in all the districts of Jharkhand. The DCs should contact the representatives of these NGOs & run the program in the areas where people are not aware.
In the meeting, Principal Secretary, Water Resource Department Mr. Sukhdev Singh, Secretary, Welfare Department Mr. Rajiv Arun Ekka & other officers were present.
