Ranchi, Sept 2: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that he considers politics to be a medium of service & positive change.
So he has come to meet the people & connect himself with them. He said that Jharkhand will be one of the developed states within five years. Now welfare exhibitions will be conducted instead of development fair. He said it while addressing people at Vikas Utsav Sahu Mela at Lohardaga.
CM said that the govt. is committed to provide services within timeframe but to ensure it, people should avail the facilities under Right to Service Act.
He said that the tourism sector will be promoted & every person willing to work will be made skilled & every BPL family will be given a pair of cows.
Rural development schemes will be made through Tribal Development Council in tribal areas. 500 villages of the state will be developed into smart villages.
He also said that unanimously elected panchayats will be given Rs. 1 lakh & at the unanimous selection of women representatives, the panchayats will be given Rs. 2 lac scheme.
Das appealed to the capable people & people’s representatives to cooperate in the insurance & pension scheme of the weak women. He said that MLAs should use Rs. 50 lakh from their MLA fund to make Jharkhand clean.
