Jamshedpur: A case involving criminal conspiracy, assault, and death threats has been registered at Sitaramdera police station.
The complaint was filed by Sheikh Mohammad Nazir, a resident of Chhayanagar Ashram. The incident reportedly took place on November 3.
According to Nazir’s statement to the police, a group of individuals allegedly conspired against him, assaulted him, and issued threats to kill him.
Based on his complaint, the police have booked several named and unidentified persons.
Police sources said that after receiving the written complaint, an investigation was launched immediately.
Preliminary findings suggest that the dispute between the parties was longstanding, which may have led to the altercation.
The case has been registered under serious sections of the Indian Penal Code, including those related to criminal conspiracy, assault, and criminal intimidation.
Sitaramdera officer-in-charge stated that raids are being conducted to trace the accused.
Considering the seriousness of the matter, the investigation has been intensified.
Police officials affirmed that evidence is being collected against the accused and arrests will be made soon.
The investigation is being conducted impartially and based on facts to ensure that the guilty are brought to justice.
