Tenure was good, got cooperation: Prabhat Kumar
Jamshedpur, September 10: Jamshedpur’s new SSP Kaushal Kishore took charge on Sunday from outgoing SSP Prabhat Kumar.
On the occasion, city SP Vijay Shankar, ASP City, all the DSPs and all the police station in-charges welcomed SSP Kaushal Kishore with a bouquet of flowers.

Earlier, SSP Kaushal Kishore was given a guard of honor as soon as he reached the SSP office of Jamshedpur. After this the process of assuming charge was completed.
New SSP Kaushal Kishore said that law and order and crime control will be his first priority. He said that there should be friendly behavior between the police and the public so that the people of the city can come to the police station and lodge their complaints without fear of the police.

“No city resident needs to fear the police. If the work is not being done properly in the police station, then the public can directly complain about it on phone. In any case, the police will do the work of the people,” said Kishore.
He said that the youth should stay away from drugs and a campaign will be launched against drug abuse. He also said that while warning the gangsters of the city, they should surrender otherwise the police will not hesitate in taking action.
He also warned the drug dealers to reform, otherwise be prepared for action.
He also said that police patrolling in the city will be made more intense. The patrol team will have to work regularly.
The outgoing SSP Prabhat Kumar said that his tenure of one year and two months was good and expressed gratitude to all the people.
He said that a lot of work has been done, the remaining work will be completed by the new SSP, he has worked to provide as much facilities to the city residents as possible.
Outgoing SSP Prabhat Kumar while congratulating the city residents said that his tenure was for one year and two months was very good. The team cooperated a lot. The campaign started by the former SSP has been taken forward. Much work has been done and much remains to be done. That too will be completed.
