Jamshedpur: A collage competition for the students of class VI to XII was organized at SDSM School for Excellence on Saturday in the school auditorium.
The purpose of the competition was to provide a platform to the students where they can develop their creative and imaginative artistic skills, said the school officials.
Altogether 50 students participated in this competition. The competition was categorized into three groups and each group had got different themes. Group A comprised the students from class VI-VII with the theme �Child labour: A social evil�. Group B comprised students from class VIII-IX with the theme �Women Empowerment in the society� and Group C comprised the students from class X-XII with theme �How to stop atrocities against women�.
The participants exhibited their skills in their unique artistic way which was appreciated by everyone. The school principal Shyamali Virdi, the Vice-Principal Ragini Singh and other teachers were present on this occasion.
The principal encouraged and appreciated the efforts of the students and told them the importance of participating in such activities. The judges of this competition were Meera Pal, the Principal of Sabuj Kalyan Public School, Telco and the Coordinator of SDSM School for Excellence.
