CPS Adityapur Students Explore Advanced Research in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Eighteen Class XI (Science) students from Central Public School, Adityapur, celebrated National Science Day by participating in an immersive scientific programme at the Institute of Physics (IOP) in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

The event, held on February 28, 2026, aimed to ignite scientific temperament and inspire innovation among young learners. The students engaged in several high-impact activities, including:

  • Popular Science Talks: Students interacted directly with eminent scientists to discuss cutting-edge theories and discoveries.

  • Guided Laboratory Visits: The group explored advanced laboratory infrastructure, gaining first-hand exposure to modern scientific research and specialized equipment.


Bridging the Gap: Classroom to Lab

Faculty members Dr. Mukesh Kumar Singh, Mr. Ravi Bhushan, and Mrs. Swati M. Mohan accompanied the students throughout the visit. The teachers praised the well-organized sessions, noting that the interactions enriched the students’ academic understanding far beyond traditional classroom learning.

The participants described the visit as both enlightening and motivating. Students expressed deep enthusiasm for the chance to witness real-world research activities and explore professional laboratory settings.
