Ranchi, Oct 25: The CPI (M) has announced its list of candidates for nine assembly seats in the upcoming Jharkhand elections. The party will contest key constituencies, including Tamar, Baharagora, Sisai, and Chatra, as it aims to strengthen its position in the state. The candidates announced include a mix of experienced leaders and fresh faces, reflecting the party’s strategy to appeal to a broad voter base.
In Baharagora, Sapan Mahato has been named as the candidate, while Pun Bhuiyo will contest from Chatra. Suresh Munda has been fielded from Tamar, a seat that has gained significant attention in recent elections. In the Sisai (ST) constituency, Madhua Kachhap will represent CPI (M), continuing the party’s focus on tribal areas. Lakhan Lal Mandal will contest from Jamtara, while Sheikh Saifuddin has been chosen for Pakur. Gopin Soren will represent the party in Maheshpur, and Sanatan Dehri will run from the Jama (ST) constituency. Finally, Kirti Munda will contest the Mandar seat.
