Jamshedpur, Oct 31: Jamshedpur on Saturday reported 61 positive corona cases.�Positive tally has climbed to 15838 while the death toll remains at�352 with no death reported on Saturday.
50 people recovered of the virus on Saturday taking the total recovery to 14285 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 1201. The district administration spokesperson informed that 61 corona positives have been identified in the East Singhbhum district on Saturday. East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 110168 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 91% while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.
So far in Jamshedpur 308983 samples have been collected out of which 293267 have been tested and 277429 have turned out to be negative.
The Coronavirus tally in the state on Saturday reached to 1,01,761 as 474 cases of Covid-19 were detected across 23 districts of the state. On Saturday only 1 death was reported across the state due to Covid-19 as a result of which the overall death count has increased to 884. The mortality rate among the patients currently stands at 0.86 per cent. As per the information provided by the health department the number of active cases in the state was 5,302 while a number of cured and discharged cases stood at 95,575. The total number of death caused by Coronavirus in the state stood at 884. On Saturday no case was found in Jamtara district. On Saturday maximum number of 139 cases were found in Ranchi followed by 73 in Bokaro, 61 in East Singhbhum, 31 in Dhanbad and 21 in Palamu (top five districts). A total of 367 people were also cured and discharged from various dedicated Covid-19 facilities during the day including 101 from Ranchi, 59 from Bokaro, 50 from East Singhbhum, 25 from Deoghar and 24 from Khunti district. Despite the rampant rise in Coronavirus cases across the state the recovery rate of Covid-19 patients has improved significantly and has once gone above 93 per cent mark to currently stand at 93.92 per cent in Jharkhand. So far in the state 33,71,747 samples have been collected out of which 33,62,394 have been tested and 32,60,633 have turned out to be negative
