Jamshedpur, Nov 24: The coronavirus infections in Jamshedpur continue its downward trend. East Singhbhum district recorded 28 positive and no death on Tuesday, November 24.
28 positives took the Coronavirus positive tally to 16619. The death toll remained at 369 with no death reported in East Singhbhum district on Tuesday.
41 people recovered of the virus on Tuesday taking the total recovery to 16040 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 210.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 132441 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 97% while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.
So far in Jamshedpur 366261 samples have been collected out of which 352558 have been tested and 335939 have turned out to be negative.
On the other hand, Coronavirus tally in Jharkhand on Tuesday reached 1,07,921 as 233 new cases of Covid-19 were detected while 191 people were discharged from various hospitals across the Jharkhand. During the day 2 deaths were reported as a result of which the overall death count has reached to 955.
As per the information provided by the health department the number of active cases in the state was 2242 while number of cured and discharged cases stood at 1,04,724. The total number of death caused by Coronavirus in the state stood at 955. The recovery rate in Jharkhand is 97.03% while the mortality rate is 0.88 %.
