Jamshedpur, Nov 9: After a gap of four days, Jamshedpur recorded three deaths on Monday, November 9. Earlier two deaths were reported on November 4. East Singhbhum district reported 48 positive cases while 39 people recovered of the virus on Monday.
Coronavirus cases in Jamshedpur reached 16225 with 48 new cases reported on November 9. The death toll climbed to 359 with three deaths reported in East Singhbhum district on Monday.
39 people recovered of the virus on Monday taking the total recovery to 14680 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 1186. East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 120757 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 91% while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.
So far in Jamshedpur 333768 samples have been collected out of which 321454 have been tested and 305229 have turned out to be negative.
On the other hand, 246 positive were reported in Jharkhand on Monday. Most of the positive have been found in Ranchi. 52 positive were reported in Ranchi on Monday. The positive tally in Jharkhand has climbed to 104688 of which 4251 cases are active. 99532 corona patients have recovered from the virus while 905 people have succumbed to the disease in Jharkhand including 8 on Monday.
The recovery rate in Jharkhand is 95.07 % while the mortality rate 0.85 %.
