Core Committee to help run Rakha copper mines

Jamshedpur, Sept 16: A joint meeting of former employees of Hindustan Copper Limited and the local employment core committee was held in Jadugora on Sunday. It was convened to discuss the possible reopening of Rakha copper mines and Sidheshwar Chapri mines It was presided over by the Mukhiya of Matigora panchayat Kartik Hembram. He said a list of various demands of former HCL employees, displacement victims and local skilled youths would be handed to the company management very soon. He said all stakeholders should work in tandem to run the company efficiently.

Among others present during the meeting included Harmohan Mahato, Rupak Kumar Mandal, Neelima Deogam, Shekhar Chanda Singh, Gurucharan Upadhyaya, Karia Hansda, Ajit Hakdar and Dev Prasad Mandal.
