Jamshedpur, Feb 17: Traffic police officials led by DSP Traffic cracked down on four youths performing risky stunts on motorcycles near Modi Park under Bistupur police station area on Thursday. The cops seized the high-speed motorcycles and initiated prosecution proceedings against the offenders.
Sources said the police action was taken following complaints against several youths reportedly performing dangerous stunts on motorcycles near Modi Park and JRD Tata Sports Complex at Bistupur. The stunts, performed at public places, posed danger to the safety of commuters and onlookers, sources said.
The SSP Jamshedpur, on receiving the complaints, had directed the DSP Traffic to take strict action against the offenders.
