Jamshedpur : One person was killed in a road accident in Thanthani Valley of Patmada police station area adjacent to Jamshedpur, the headquarters of East Singhbhum. The deceased was a resident of Bangudada Village and a contracted computer operator in the Education Department. He was identified as Sameer Mahato. The Thanthani Valley is notorious for accidents. An accident happens on the day of arrival in the valley. 28-year-old Sameer Mahato Patamada was working as a computer operator in BRC.
According to the villagers, Sameer had gone to Chaibasa for some work. In the course of returning home late at night, death is reported due to an unknown vehicle. On the information of the villagers in the morning, Sameer was picked up from the spot by the police of Patmada police station and brought to Patmada PHC from where TMH was informed and referred to the family members. The doctors at TMH declared Sameer dead.
