Seraikela, March 11: A 50 year-old man, identified as Shivendra Narayan, died under mysterious circumstances on Friday, sources said.
According to sources, the body of the deceased was found lying on the main road near NIT More. There were injury marks on the neck and hands of the deceased. The family members of the deceased alleged that Shivendra was killed in the company and later his body was thrown on the road.
Saroj Kumar, brother-in-law of the deceased, said Narayan would be back from duty at 6 am every day. On Friday, Narayan did not return as he usually did. Later, when his family members called him, Narayan did not respond. After some time, the family members of the deceased were informed that Shivendra was no more.
Narayan was a contractor in a local company. According to Alok Kumar Dubey, officer-in-charge of the local police station, an investigation is on to ascertain the murder angle.
