Chaibasa, Oct. 17: West Singhbhum Deputy commissioner Dr Shantanu Kumar Agrahari held a meeting with Swachhta Mission officers at DC office on Monday.
DC appealed the people to help support the civic workers in keeping the town clean and also asked for beautification of places near the houses and important land marks.
DC asked them to construct toilets at appropriate place only and the duty of monitoring and for proper hygiene should also be taken up.
The duty of beautification and cleanliness should be allotted to the local organisation as well as chamber of commerce. Dr. Agrahari also directed to make an old Shoe bank.
Also present at the meeting was ADC, director DRDA , SDO sadar chaibasa, Chamber of commerce members, Red Cross and Rotary club of West Singhbhum members.
