Chaibasa, Dec.14 : West Singhbhum district congress committee on Wednesday protested against the halt in construction of access path over the railway bridge near Tungri and Matkam Hatu Chaibasa demanding immediate start of construction work of access path on Wednesday.
The congress party said that we had already submitted a memorandum to the deputy commissioner on December 6 for completion of construction work which has been pending for last six-months and is creating trouble for the commuters.
The DC, SP also regularly pass through the road but the contractors are least bothered. A large number of congress workers were present at the protest site.
