Chaibasa, Jan. 9: Acting on the directions of All India Congress Committee president Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi, the West Singhbhum district congress committee led by Punam Hembram, vice-president of district Mahila congress, took out an outrage rally against demonetization and CNT and SPT Act amendment.
The congress women were seen beating plates and raising slogans against the demonetization of BJP led government.
The rally traversed through the Jain Market, Sadar Bazaar, Deputy Commissioner’s office, court, sub divisional office, post office, Congress BhawanChowk.
The rally was attended by former minister DevendraChampiya , Ashok Sundi, BramhanandPurti, Trishanu,RajendraPurti, Radha Mohan Banerjee, ShakeelaBano, SarlaSundi, SukmtiHembram, Sheila Sundi, Jaya Sinku, AnjuLaguriand hundreds of women.
