Hundreds attend funeral procession of Journalist Pramod Kumar

Chaibasa, Jan. 9: People in large number attended the funeral procession of Journalist Pramod Kumar of a Hindi daily newspaper and his final rites were performed at Chaibasa cremation ground on Monday.

Political leaders, representative of various social organization and journalists from electronic media and print media paid homage to the departed soul and observed five-minute silence. On the occasion, the Journalists decided to provide financial aid to the kin of Pramod Kumar.

Present at the funeral procession were former MLA Badkunwar Garai, district BJP president Gudu Pathak, Tarun Kumar Sawiyain, Manish Agarwal, journalists and residents of Chaibasa.

It may be noted that Pramod Kumar died during treatment at PGI Hospital in Lucknow on Sunday.
