Jamshedpur: District Women�s Congress Committee members paid tributes to Sidhu-Kanhu, Chand-Bhairav and Phulo-Jhano on the occasion of Hul Diwas on Saturday. The party members celebrated Hul Diwas at Hume Pipe roundabout.
The dignitaries present on the occasion included Intuc national secretary Raghunath Pandey and Youth Intuc national secretary Rakesh Sahu. They said the heroes of Santhal Hul revolution were still an inspiration for many in the society. Remembering these martyrs is the duty of one and all, they said.
Among others present during the event included Ajay Singh, Indrajeet Singh, Kamlesh Sao, Rajkishore Prasad and Guddu Singh.
