Jamshedpur, October 9: Congress coordination committee discussed election strategy at a meeting in a hotel on Monday for the victory of India Alliance candidate in Jamshedpur Lok Sabha parliamentary seat.
Lok Sabha seat co-in-charge Rama Khalkho presided over the meeting and said that each seat is important for the India Alliance in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Congress stakes its claim on Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat and claimed that party position is strong on Jamshedpur seat.
Congress leader Samantha Kumar talked about making a special strategy for Bengali voters. He said that there is a good number of Bengali language speakers in Jamshedpur. They can decide victory or defeat in elections.
State health minister Banna Gupta said that the upcoming Lok Sabha elections will decide the direction and condition of the country. In this election, the workers should put in all efforts for the victory of the Indian Alliance candidate.
Former MP Dr. Ajoy Kumar and Singhbhum MP Geeta Koda could not attend the meeting. It was told that both of them had given prior information related to this to senior party officials.
Many Congress officials among the 51 members could not attend the meeting.
However, in the press release issued by Congress, it was claimed that 45 people were involved.
A 51-member coordination committee has been formed by the Congress high command for Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat. It was told in the meeting that this committee will be expanded.
