Jamshedpur, August 7: Headed by national spokesperson Dr. Ajay Kumar Congress party workers and activists sat on a dharna near Mercy Hospital in Baridih over delay in establishment of Manipal Medical College in Jamshedpur.
The protestors including District Congress President Bijay Khan, Anand Bihari Dubey, Rakesh Tiwary shouted slogans against the state government and targeted the chief minister Raghubar Das and demanded answers to his questions that why the state govt. is delaying the establishment of the medical college that was to be structured soon after the govt. assumed power.
Dr. Ajay on the occasion said that while in his tenure as the MP he completed all procedures for the establishment of the Manipal hospital, but now the govt. has backed out from the plan that could have been proved useful for the commons.
