Jamshedpur: District Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Ankit Anand on Friday accused Congress leaders of East Singhbhum district committee of patronizing the culprits of recent violence in Dhatkidih and Mango.
He said one of the accused, Maulana Ansar Khan, was seen in the bike rally and meeting organized by the Congress on Wednesday. He said the accused was involved in assaulting police and fomenting riot in the city. He said police had been searching for the accused since the day violence erupted in city.
�Congress is finding it hard to digest the huge success and fan following of the BJP. This is the reason why they are resorting to communal violence in a bid to damage the image of the state government,� said Anand.
