Jamshedpur: Members of East Singhbhum Congress Committee burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Raghubar Das at Sakchi roundabout on Thursday to protest horse-trading in the 2016 Rajya Sabha elections in the state. They demanded the CM’s resignation on the issue while raising anti-state government slogans.
The programme was led by the district vice president Parmanand Jha.
Among those present on the occasion included KK Shukla, Brajendra Tiwary, Amarjeet Nath Mishra, Sanjay Azad, Rajkishore Prasad, Laddu Pandey, Bablu Jha, Pramod Mishra, Rahul Goswami, Dipankar Bhattacharya, Rita Gupta, Nalini Sinha and Aparna Guha.
