Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP president Dinesh Kumar slammed the Congress party for blocking BJPs way to power in Karnataka. He said the Congress had strangled democracy and had given up all ethical and moral considerations in its unending quest for power.
In a statement issued on Friday, Kumar said the Congress had crossed its limits by seeking to form the government in Karnataka with the support of Janata Dal (S).
Neither Congress nor JD (S) has the mandate of the people, said Kumar, adding further that only the BJP had the moral and Constitutional right to form the government in the current political situation in Karnataka as it had got the majority seats in the recently concluded Assembly elections in the state.
