Congress delegation meets CP Singh, submits demand memorandum

Chaibasa, May 30: A delegation of West Singhbhum congress party submitted a memorandum to state urban development minster CP Singh alleging that the inclusion of 12 villages in Chakradharpur Municipality and 27 villages in Chaibasa Municipality under the 2040 master plan is against constitution under PESA Act.

The party leaders said that the scheduled areas come under governor and under the PESA Act village meeting is necessary for the merging of the villages.

Kolah is ruled by Manki Munda system but the government has ignored their rights. Those present were district president of the congress Sunny Sinku, Trishanu Roy, advocate Mahendra Jamuda, Bhavesh Garai and others.
