Chaibasa, Nov. 27: West Singhbhum congress leaders burnt the effigy of Vice Chancellor (VC) of Kolhan University (KU) RPP Singh and resolute to boycott the second convocation of KU, at Chaibasa Post office Chowk for not inviting Rajya Sabha MP Pradeep Balmuchu as guest for the convocation on Monday .
The congress party accused the vice chancellor of printing the name of East Singhbhum in the invitation card but excluding the only Rajya Sabha MP Pradeep Balmuchu.
Present at the effigy burning programme were Trishanu Roy, Yogesh Purty, Radha Mohan Banerjee, Krishna Soy, Turi Sundi, Chand Khan, Munna Akbar, Niral Deogam and others.
