Jamshedpur: A delegation led by former Women�s Congress Committee president Manjit Anand met SP (City) Prashant Anand on Wednesday to demand action against the culprits who recently assailed one Dasa Sandil of Mango.
The Congress leader said that Dasa Sandil was attacked by one Toga and his associates recently. She alleged that police had failed to take action against the culprits.
On this, the SP spoke to Olidih police station officials and ordered arresting of the assailants as soon as possible. He also directed the officials to get warrant or attachment orders issued against the assailants, if found absconding.
The delegation members included Sunita Das, Sagar Singh, Reena Das, Rajesh Das, Gudiya Munda, Durga Charan Sandil and Kuldip Mahato.
