Condolence meet held for Astik Sardar

Jamshedpur: A condolence meet was organized at Paryavaran Chetna Kendra auditorium in Potka on Saturday following the demise of Astik Sardar, a local social activist. Many people were present to pay tributes to the departed soul.
Speaking on the occasion, Sidheshwar Sardar, one of the participants, said the death of Astik Sardar had left a vacuum in the society. He said Sardar fought for the poor and under-privileged. He said Sardar had dedicated his life for the case of students and the poor people irrespective of their caste, creed or religion.
Among those present at the condolence meet included Harish Bhumij, Jaldhar Patro, Shiv Kumar Patro, Bariyar Mardi, Malti Sardar, Sandhya, Vishnu, Jaipal, Hemant Sardar, Sanjay Sardar, Sahdev Sardar and Gauri Sardar.
