Complaint filed with Railway Minister regarding delayed trains between Tata and Raipur

Jamshedpur, May 21: The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry has brought the matter of frequent train delays between Tata and Raipur, and beyond, to the attention of Ashwin Vaishnav, the Minister of Railways, Government of India. President Vijay Anand Moonka and Honorary General Secretary Manav Kedia provided this information.

The Chairman and General Secretary expressed concern over the consistent delays in trains traveling from Howrah to Raipur and beyond, which have caused significant inconvenience and problems for passengers over the past year. Students striving to reach their educational institutions on time, job seekers attending interviews, and individuals seeking medical treatment are all being affected by the delays. The situation has left passengers frustrated and disheartened as they miss out on achieving their objectives. Additionally, in this summer season, common passengers including children, women, and the elderly are experiencing considerable difficulties while waiting for hours at the stations.

In light of these passenger issues, the Singhbhum Chamber has appealed to the Honorable Railway Minister to prioritize the assessment of train delays through the officers responsible for various sections and promptly rectify the train timings. While highlighting the progress of the Indian Railways in line with the country’s development, the Chairman and General Secretary emphasized that the current delays are eroding the faith of the general public in the Railways. Alongside President Vijay Anand Moonka and Honorary General Secretary Manav Kedia, Vice President Nitesh Dhoot, Dilip Golchha, Mahesh Sonthalia, Mukesh Mittal, Secretary Anil Modi, Piyush Chaudhary, Bharat Makani, Sarvanmal Sharma, and Treasurer Kishore Golchha have also urged the government to address the issue promptly and restore normalcy to the railway services.
