Jamshedpur, July 24: Tata Motors Sports department organised inter team and inter school football tournament which concluded on Monday at Sumant Moolgaonkar Stadium in Telco. In the final of the inter school event Community High School Barigora beat Little Flower School 5-3 through penalty shoot out. Earlier, the first half of the match ended without a goal and both the team scored a goal each after the end of the second half which took the match to the penalty shoot out. Deepak Pinguwa of Community High School scored seven goals in the tournament and was declared the best player.
Later, the final of the inter team event was played at the same venue. Team Trans Excel thrashed Prima Challenger 3-0. Best player award was bagged by Mohan Baskey of Trans Excel for scoring seven goals. Chief Guest for the occasion was Ravi Shankar Singh, GM, HR, Tata Motors and special guest Ashok Bareja, GM, Technical Services, Tata Motors awarded the winners and runners-up team players with gold medal, silver medals and certificates. Head Town Administration and Sports Vivekanand Singh extended the vote of thanks. Also present at the venue were Sr. manager AR Sen, Sports Officer GB Singh and others.
