Commendable work done to clean Chhath Ghats at short notice: Kale

Jamshedpur, Nov 19: Members of Har-Har Mahadev Seva Sangh led by founder and prominent social activist Amarpreet Singh Kale surveyed the cleaning and upkeep of several Chhath Ghats including the ones at Swarnrekha River, Lakshminagar Makdam, Manifit, Baridih District School and the Bhojpur Chhath Ghat. He was full of appreciation for the work done and observed, “The district administration has done commendable work of cleaning the Chhat Ghats in such short notice for the convenience of devotees of this major Chhat Parv. Social organizations have done their bit too in the work. Devotees are also grateful to parliamentarian Sri Bidyut Mahto and respected legislator Sri Saryu Roy who had taken personal initiatives in the Ghat cleaning drive.”

Kale appealed to devotees to abide by government and administrative protocols while performing Chhath prayers on the river banks and other water bodies and said that it was for their and their loved ones’ safety. He later visited houses of his friends where Chhat Puja was being observed and partook of Kharna Prasad at their residences. He stated on the occasion, “The worship of Mother Chhath requires utmost piety and I am sure Her worship will not go unanswered. She will rid the world of coronavirus pandemic.”

The other members of the Har-Har Mahadev Seva Sangh present were Akhilesh Pandey, Jugun Pandey, Mahesh Mishra, Prince Singh, Bibhash Majumdar, Abhishek Pandey, Ghanshyam Bharbharia, Suman Kumar, Sandip Kumar, Dipak Singh, Manish Singh, Vicky Tarve, Raj Paswan, Shubham Lal, Suraj Chaubey and others.
