Jamshedpur, Nov 19: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahto inaugurated Lake View Hotel and Dhaba at the Haludbani Sidhu Kanhu Chowk near Dimna Lake. Patamda MLA Mangal Kalindi, Ghatshila legislator Ramdas Soren, hotel’s proprietor Shankar Dubey and Bodam Block’s woman leader Menka Kisku were among others present on the occasion.
In his address, parliamentarian Bidyut Baran Mahto observed that with the opening of the Lake View Hotel and Dhaba as many as 30 youth had been provided employmewnt. He said that even during the COVID period small enterprises could generate youth employment. “In East Singhbhum more than a dozen mines are shut. Once operations start in these mines about 25 to 30 thousand youth will get job opportunities. The state government should seriously consider this aspect,” Bidyut said.
Patamda legislator Mangal Kalindi said that he would demand Dimna Lake and nearby areas being declared as tourist points especially because these places had lots of natural surroundings including hills, mountain streams and jungles. Kalindi said, “Lots of tourists from the bordering states of Bengal, Bihar and Odisha visited these spots.”
