Jamshedpur: Stage is set for the inauguration of various Chhath ghats in the city by Chief Minister Raghubar Das. The CM will be inaugurating the ghats in Bhojpuri Colony, Birsanagar and other adjoining areas. Preparations for the inaugural function have been completed.
In Bhojpur Colony, a Chhath ghat cum park has been constructed at a cost of Rs 95 lakh. The ghat is 325 feet long and has various facilities including high mast lamps. It is being made a model Chhath ghat by the state government.
Special attention is being given to cleanliness and hygiene. In Jamshedpur East constituency, ghats have been developed at nine different places.
Chief Minister�s representative Pawan Agrawal will be inaugurating the beautification drive in Anandnagar, Golmuri, on Sunday. Various BJP leaders visited Laxminagar, Jemco, Manifit, Situ Talab, Telco, Birsanagar and Baridih today to inspect the preparations.
