CM stresses on training villagers

Ranchi, Nov. 19: Addressing the Prime Minister Rural Development Fellowship Contact Program in the conference hall of SKIPA, Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that villages are still impoverished and backward. The villagers can not avail the government schemes which are one of the main causes of their backwardness. He said that the marginalized people should be skilled in order to benefit them with government schemes.

The CM said that Jharkhand getting the responsibility of training program from the Union Rural Development Ministry is a matter of pride. He said that Mahatma Gandhi laid emphasis on the development of villages. He said that the government has initiated IT-related services to implement good governance in the state. It includes e-district, mobile apps, Right to Service Act and tele-medicine.

MD SKIPA Sudhir Prasad, Secretary to CM Sunil Kr. Burnwal, Sitanath Prabhu, Program Coordinator of Union Rural Development Ministry Somen Biswas and other officers were present on this occasion.
