Ranchi: In what may be an apt example to set following the rise of Aam Admi Party in the national Capital, Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said no siren or hooters will be used anymore in his carcade from now onwards.

Soren said necessary instructions had been issued to the department officials concerned in this regard. He said the step had been taken to avoid causing unnecessary harassment to the public.

Soren said the ministers had also been advised to avoid unnecessary use of too many vehicles and security personnel. He said the ministers and bureaucrats should try their best to remain as common man.

The CM said he was personally against the use of siren or hooters near hospitals or before aged people. He said the use of sirens should be strictly stopped in prohibited areas.

Asked if he was following the example of Aam Admi Party, Soren said there was nothing wrong in learning good things from anyone.

He said many vital issues related to the development of the state were discussed during a meeting with the ruling alliance partners of the state government in a meeting held today.
