CM orders CCTV monitoring of Puja Pandals and other religious places

Ranchi, Oct 5: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that festivals connect people and unity is our identity & nobody, whosoever he may be, will be spared who will try to tear our social fabric.

He warned the people spreading rumors & anti social elements and said that the govt. will deal with them strictly if they do so.

Appealing to the intellectual class of the society, CM asked them to come forward & detect the anti social elements. He said it while talking to ex- CM Hemant Soren & intellectuals of all religion at his residential office in Ranchi.

Das assured them that the govt. will consider their suggestions and said that he has ordered the police to conduct a high level probe into the matter. He said that the innocent will be freed.

He appreciated the people of different communities for their positive role in curbing the anti social elements and asked them to stand firmly against the mischievous elements in the forthcoming festivals & thereafter.

He directed the district administration to install CCTV in Puja Pandals and other religious places.

On this occasion, intellectuals of Anjuman Islamia, Mahavir Mandal, Durga Puja Committees & Sikh community were present.
