Ranchi, Dec. 2: Chief Minister Raghubar Das met A. Mitra, CEO, SAIL, Bokaro, on a courtesy call at Project Building. He informed the CM about production, expansion and likely schemes.
He informed the CM that 78% of the steel production is utilized. That�s why production has been decreased. Plant and machinery are being repaired and new equipments are installed in place of dysfunctional machines. The capacity of the plant will be enhanced in the time to come.
Mitra told the CM that the plant is being run with 15,600 manpower and 6,000 casual workers. He said that additional manpower and skilled workers are required.
