Jamshedpur, May 21: A grand Ram temple will come be constructed in Sidhgora Surya Mandir premises.
Chief Minister Raghubar Das will lay the foundation on May 22. This was informed by the members of the mandir committee.
Addressing a press conference at a city hotel, Surya Mandir committee president Laxmikant Singh said, the mandir will be constructed by public cooperation and the cost will come around Rs 30 lakh.
He further said that the Ram temple will be ready in two years and artisans from Odissa including Raghu Pradhan, Sahdev Pradhan and Neelmani will be leading the construction work.
The top floor of the Soan Mandap has a three thousand sq. ft A/c hall built at a cost of Rs 60 lakh which houses two rooms.
The perday rent of a single room is Rs seven thousand. Also present at the press conference were general secretary Sushil Panda, Pavan Agarwal and others.
