Jamshedpur, March 13: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Sunday launched the logo of the UNICEF – CII, Eastern Region CSR Hub, at the Gopal Maidan.
UNICEF India Country Office and the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Eastern Region have partnered to jointly strengthen knowledge base and build capacity of corporate sector involvement in CSR, with one of the focus areas being women and children from the Children’s Rights and Business Principals (CRBP) perspective.
The hub will act as a knowledge centre for holistic CSR activities, as a think tank and play an advisory role for CII members in the region. This will include among others mapping needs, resources, identifying and prioritizing key social development issues/challenges facing the concerned states, developing specific plans and strategies and providing technical guidance towards project development and implementation.
