CM inaugurates Jharkhand Festival Delhi

Ranchi, Nov. 21: Chief Minister Raghubar Das inaugurated Jharkhand Diwas Festival at the Jharkhand Pavilion in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that Jharkhand is going a step ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi�s �Make in India� call be emphasising on �Make in Jharkhand.�

He said that the state has taken many steps to boost self-employment and connected 1.12 lakh people with the MUDRA yojana. The state government has decided to provide 1 lakh LPG gas cylinders to the underprivileged families under the LPG subsidy scheme of Union Petroleum Ministry.

Courts and collectorates in the state will be provided with renewable energy system in Jharkhand, he said, adding development is being a reality in Jharkhand.

The CM visited all stalls in the Jharkhand mandap at the Pragati Maidan and expressed his happiness over the state�s participation in the fair. On this occasion, a cultural program was presented by the artists of Jharkhand, besides dedicating a coffee table book �Advantage Jharkhand� to the people.

Jharkhand chief secretary Rajiv Gauba, principal secretary to CM Sanjay Kumar, secretary to CM Sunil Kr. Burnwal, principal resident commissioner U. P. Singh, principal secretary, finance, Amit Khare and state industry director K. Ravi Kumar were present on this occasion.
