Howrah – Pune Puja Special trip extended

Jamshedpur, Nov. 21: With a view to cope with the rush of passengers during Durga Puja and Diwali, South Eastern Railway (SER) had introduced a special train between Howrah and Pune passing through Tatanagar. SER officials at the Garden Reach said on Saturday that the train would make an extra trip on November 28 in order to deal with the rush.

The train (02222 Howrah-Pune AC Superfast Weekly Puja Special) will leave from Howrah for Pune. The train will leave Howrah at 6.30 p.m. and reach Tatanagar at 10 p.m. After a five-minute halt, the train will leave for its onward journey and will reach Pune on the next day at 2.45 a.m.

On its return journey, the train (02221) will leave Pune at 10.30 a.m. and will reach Tatanagar on the next day at 2.15 p.m. After a five-minute halt, it will leave for Howrah. The weekly superfast train will stop at Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Chakradharpur, Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Bilaspur, Nagpur, Bhusawal, and Panvel stations during its to and fro journeys.
