Bokaro, April 6: Chief Minister Raghubar Das inaugurated much awaited Garga Bridge in Bokaro with the estimated cost Rs. 180,955,905 and laid online foundation stone of 12 other schemes with the cost of Rs. 537,193,618.
Addressing the vast gathering, the CM said that in the next two years, many quality bridges will be constructed in the state which will help in expanding the network of the roads in the state.
Das said that bridges connect people and minimize distances. He said that the government aims at giving a transparent and accountable govt. That�s why most of the schemes are made online. People of the state can suggest the government also by dialing 181.
Laying stress on conservation of rain water as solution of drinking water, the CM appealed the people to make proper use of water. He said that the state abounds in coal and the necessity of electricity can be easily completed. He repeated that Jharkhand will be a power hub by 2019. Simultaneously, he laid stress on the alternative sources of energy.
The CM said that the govt. endeavors to employ the local youths. The mistakes by the last government regarding appointment manual will be rectified. He said that electricity, road, education, health, drinking water and law and order are the government�s priority. He said that an elevated and progressing society can be made only when work is done with responsibility and honesty.
Tourism minister Amar Kr. Bauri said that the government has kept her promise of building Garga Bridge. MP P.N. Singh, Ravindra Kumar Pandey, MLA Jagganath Mahto and Yogeshwar Mahto �Batul� also expressed their views in the meeting. Bokaro DC Mahima Patre disposed vote of thanks.
