Ranchi, Feb. 10: Chief Minister Raghubar Das inaugurated 132/33 KB grid sub-station Madhupur, 132 KB Madhupur Jamtara transmission line and LED display board at Deoghar online. Moreover, he laid foundation stone for 38.38 km long road to be built with the expenditure of 2468 lac rupees.
Addressing the people, the CM said that the cost of this project is Rs. 50 cr. He said that the govt. aims to complete electrification work by December 2016. By 2018, the whole state will be provided 24 x 7hrs electricity.
He said that it is a historic step and people will be made free from load shedding. Additional 80 megawatt electricity will be supplied to people of Madhupur.
The dependency on electricity supply by DVC will decrease.
The CM said that the govt. is working in the field of road, irrigation and energy. Solar energy is also being considered seriously by the govt. DPR is being prepared to supply water from the Ganga (Sahebganj) to Santhal Pargna and the Sone to Palamu and Garhwa.
Labour Minister Mr. Raj Paliwar thanked the CM for considering backwardness of Madhupur. He requested the CM to establish Women college and declare Madhupur a district.
MP Mr. Nishikant Dubey, Deoghar MLA Mr. Mr. Narayan Das and Jarmundi MLA Mr. Badal Patralekh were present.
