Jamshedpur. Sep 9: Chief Minister Hemant Soren is set to lead a significant event on September 10, as part of the Kolhan level special camp organized under the “Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar” initiative. The camp will take place at the cashew plantation ground in Dobo, Chandil block, starting at 12:30 pm. This event aims to bring the government’s welfare schemes directly to the people, with Chief Minister Soren spearheading the activities.
Four key ministers—Banna Gupta, Satyanand Bhokta, Deepak Birua, and Ramdas Soren—will join the Chief Minister in this endeavour. In addition, MPs from Jamshedpur, Singhbhum, and Khunti, along with nine MLAs from Kolhan, have been invited to the event. The presence of these officials underscores the importance of the program and the commitment to delivering benefits to the community.
In light of the large-scale event, the Seraikela District Transport Officer has mandated a complete closure of the Dobo bridge for all vehicles from 8 am to 7 pm on September 10. This measure aims to manage the high volume of traffic expected due to the Chief Minister’s visit. Travelers heading to Chandil or Seraikela are advised to use alternative routes, such as the Pudisili route via Mango Pardih Kali Mandir.
The Chief Minister’s visit will include addressing the crowd, distributing assets, and laying the foundation stone for several new projects. Preparations are in full swing, with a helipad being constructed for the CM’s arrival and a large hangar pandal being erected to accommodate attendees. The setup will include provisions for snacks, drinking water, mobile toilets, and medical assistance to ensure a comfortable experience for all participants.
East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal is overseeing the final arrangements, focusing on ensuring the availability of essential services such as drinking water, medical teams, fire brigade, and ambulance services. Barricades and signage will be strategically placed to manage the crowd and traffic flow effectively.
This event is expected to significantly benefit the local community by enhancing access to government schemes and services, while also showcasing the government’s commitment to addressing the needs of the people in the Kolhan division.
