CM Hemant Soren to visit Jamshedpur on August 23

Jamshedpur, August 22: Chief Minister Hemant Soren is scheduled to visit Jamshedpur on Friday, August 23, following the recent political upheaval involving former Chief Minister Champai Soren. The Chief Minister will arrive at Sonari Airport via helicopter from Ranchi and proceed to the residence of former MP Suman Mahato in Sonari Adarshnagar. This visit is timed to coincide with a condolence meeting for the recently deceased daughter of the late Sunil Mahato and Suman Mahato.

After the condolence meeting, which begins at 2 PM, CM Soren will head to the Circuit House for interactions with local residents before returning to Ranchi. The visit comes at a crucial moment as Champai Soren has adopted a rebellious stance against the JMM leadership. There is speculation that the two leaders might meet during this visit, as Champai Soren has also been invited to the event.

Given the current political tensions, many are hopeful for a dialogue between Hemant Soren and Champai Soren. Efforts may be made to facilitate a meeting between them to address the ongoing issues within the party.
