Matki decoration and Sawan Queen competitions held in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, August 22: The All India Women’s Conference hosted an event titled ‘Sawan Ki Bahaar: Radha Krishna Ki Preet,’ with SDO Parul Singh present as the chief guest. Singh delivered an inspirational speech and officially inaugurated the program. President Parul Mangal and Patron Members Daisy Irani and Vijayalakshmi Das were also in attendance.

The event featured Matki decoration and Sawan Queen competitions. In the Matki decoration contest, Lata Adesara took first place, Anu Sehgal was awarded second, and Poonam Doshi received third. For the Sawan Queen competition, Sonia Bhatia was crowned first, with Prachi Raje as the runner-up and Sarika Singh as the second runner-up. DP Grewal and Nalini Rammurti were recognized for their costumes, with Simran presenting the Sawan Queen segment in a unique style.

A highlight of the program was the presentation of Radha Krishna’s Raasleela, performed by participants including Manisha Sahay, Prachi Raje, Vinita Shah, and others. The stage management and background setup were efficiently handled by Alka Garg, while Sarika Singh and Sumati delivered a special dance performance.
