Ranchi: On behalf of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the petition filed in the High Court against the summons of the ED may be requested for an early hearing from the court today. The CM’s advocate may request an early hearing from the court on Wednesday. It is worth mentioning here that in the case of land forgery, the ED has sent summons for the fifth time and asked Chief Minister Hemant Soren to appear in the ED office on October 4 i.e. Wednesday. Before this, ED had sent summons to CM Hemant Soren four times. But they did not reach the ED office.
At the same time, the Chief Minister has filed a petition in the Jharkhand High Court on September 23 against the summons of the ED. In which he has demanded to intervene in the case and stop the action of the ED. Along with this, a letter was written by the CM to the ED in which it was said that no action should be taken by the ED until the case is heard by the High Court.
Earlier, Chief Minister Hemant Soren approached the Supreme Court on August 23 and filed a writ petition challenging the summons of the ED. On September 18, the Supreme Court refused to hear and directed him to go to the High Court in this case.
